Graveyard

Here is a snippet of a short horror story I started writing many years ago (Zombie Vignette):

“Paul Boswell considered himself extremely fortunate and was feeling uncharacteristically optimistic regarding his and Tina’s future. In fact, he had conveyed that sentiment to a coworker prior to leaving the real estate office that Friday, after receiving both a promotion and substantial pay increase. . . . But nothing can put a damper on a person’s outlook more than having to kill their girlfriend with a claw hammer.”
